Position: Java Developer Work Location : Boston, Massachusetts - Local Only Required Work Authorization: Only USC & GC Minimum Required Experience: 9+ Years Responsibilities: Work with Business Analysts to understand requirements and translate to design Source code development Unit test case development Functional/system integration testing support and Deployment Support production as needed and meet development schedules Must Haves: Please be mindful that this client is looking for top tier developers! Must be able to work onsite 4 days a week (they can come in early or later to avoid traffic but must work 8 hours a day) Bachelors degree in CS or something similar Java, Spring, Spring MVC, JSP, jQuery, Multithreading, SQL Database Design, Restful, some front end experience Qualifications: Bachelors Degree, in Computer Science or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience developing web-based applications Minimum 5 years development experience in Java/J2EE technologies Strong Communication Skills The successful candidate must have, in order of importance: Experience with Spring, Spring MVC, an ORM framework (myBatis or Hibernate preferred) Experience using and implementing RESTful web services Experience with Java, JavaScript, JSP, CSS, HTML, jQuery Experience with multi-threading using core Java libraries particularly the Executor framework. Knowledge of XML, JSON, and AJAX techniques Strong understanding of SQL database design Self-motivated and willing to learn Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
