http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=1026805&uid= From: Arun, KPG [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Hi , Please let me know if you would be interested in below position Role Type: Cyber Security Analyst Location Orlando,FL(Onsite) Duration : 12 Months+ 7 + years in Risk Management Framework (RMF) and documentation Skilled in assembling security authorization package using National Institutes of Standards and Technology (NIST) / with the following mix of skills: business analysis, strong knowledge of FISMA NIST 800-53 controls, excellent communication, ideally possesses (ISC)2 CAP certification Description of BIE Work RTI is currently working as a prime contractor with the Bureau of Indian Education rolling out an eLMS (electronic Learning Management System) Solution for grades K 12 in the BIE schools. In addition to this rollout, RTI is performing Security Assessment & Remediation Services on the eLMS application. Some of our responsibilities include: Mapping the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53 controls to security documentation and creating the Corrective Action Plan (CAP) to mitigate weaknesses or deficiencies Creating, reviewing, and updating security documentation so that it complies with the NIST security controls requirements and then Submitting security documentation to the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) and PowerSchool for approval Track and update the Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) remediation, and communicate progress to BIE and PowerSchool. This assessment and remediation will ultimately help the BIE as follows: Reduce the risk to the information and information system Prevent data breaches Automate the continuous monitoring program Automate the assessment, reporting, and authorization of the information system Provides near real-time date or real-time data for compliance and continuous monitoring activities NIST 800-53 compliance is so important because the framework provides organizations with guidelines and systematic methodology for protecting, managing, and reducing cybersecurity risk and threats. NIST compliance is mandatory for all federal information systems. The ultimate goal is obtaining a FedRAMP Authorization, which is achievable once NIST 800-53 is reached.
