Candidate must have Must Haves: - investment industry experience - 5-7 years VBA coding - Creating dashboards in Power BI - SQL Database - example dashboards Nice to have: - Fixed Income Analytics Our client is looking for a consultant to help build their risk management team. Determine how to collect the data and store in the database. Much of this work will be automation of the current process. The manager is requesting a sample of dashboards they've created to see how they visualize and organize the data they are given. Skills and Qualifications: 1. Technical Skills: - Proficient in SQL Server Database development. - Strong expertise in VBA coding for automation and process improvement. - Demonstrated experience in building Power BI Dashboards. 2. Industry Experience: - Mandatory experience working at a mid to large size investment firm. - In-depth understanding of fixed income analytics. 3. Years of Experience: - Minimum 5-7 years of proven experience as an IT developer. 4. Preferred Qualifications: - Insurance industry experience is nice to have. 5. Working Conditions: - Hybrid working arrangement, allowing flexibility in remote and office work. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively. - Proactive and self-motivated, taking initiative to drive projects to completion. 6. Compensation: - Competitive fixed amount per week. Responsibilities: 1. Develop and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring efficient data management. 2. Design and implement VBA coding solutions to automate manual processes and enhance system functionality. 3. Create Power BI Dashboards for effective data visualization and analysis. 4. Utilize industry knowledge to contribute to fixed-income analytics projects. 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective IT solutions.
