Requisition Class: ITENTBA : IT Enterprise Bus Anlyst 2 Region Name: State of Georgia Title/Role: GA DOR - IT Enterprise Business Analyst 2 (726627) Start Date: 02/12/2024 End Date: 06/30/2024 Worksite Address: 1800 Century Blvd NE, Atlanta, GA 30345 Agency Interview Type: Either Web Cam or In Person Work Arrangement: Onsite Under general supervision, analyzes enterprise-wide customer business needs and participates in the planning, design and implementation of new or enhanced systems that may serve multiple state entities. *THE TAX CLEARANCE LETTER COMPLIANCE ITEM, IS DUE AT THE TIME OF CANDIDATE SUBMISSION* (pls review the compliance tab on how the candidate can obtain this letter) Candidate MUST be local to Metro Atlanta. ONSITE required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years in a related position Responsibilities Create and execute test plans and scripts, including test automation, that validate application business requirements and systems goals, meet requirements, and identify existing or potential issues. Collaborate with software/systems personnel in application testing, such as system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing methods. Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management. Test any new software to ensure integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and technical specifications. Analyze formal test results in order to discover and report any defects, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws. Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices. DOR will conduct a background check on all candidates considered for the position. Individuals must be compliant with Georgia tax obligations. Individuals having any overdue and unpaid taxes, or any felony convictions (no matter how long ago) will not be offered the position or hired. All employees will be fingerprinted. Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Proficient in system testing best practices and methodologies. Required 2 Years Proficient in developing, documenting, and organizing test cases and with reporting test execution results. Required 2 Years Proficient in analytical problem solving and critical thinking. Required 2 Years Strong aptitude for understanding software requirements to ensure comprehensive testing coverage. Required 2 Years Hands on experience with developing and executing test automation Highly desired 2 Years Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
