Supports multiple services and multiple databases of medium to high complexity (complexity defined by database size, technology used, multiple different systems and interfaces) with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity and accessibility of data. Works on multiple projects as a project leader or sometimes as a project advisor. May coach more junior technical staff. Database Administrator Job Responsibilities: Install and maintain the performance of database servers. Develop processes for optimizing database security. Set and maintain database standards. Manage database access. Performance tuning of database systems. Install, upgrade, patching, and manage database applications. Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors. Engages with development teams throughout the software life cycle ensuring sustainable software releases and monitor application performance with the database Recommend and implement emerging database technologies. Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards. Capacity Planning Database reorganization planning Performance Tuning Be available for on-call support as needed.
