Client:  Apple

Location: 

Austin, TX (hybrid/onsite from day one)

Length:  12 months with possible extensions

Preference: Local candidates, previous Apple Contractors, at minimum local to Texas and open to relocation to Austin

NOTE: If selected for this position, you are required to perform ALL work within a commutable distance of your assigned Worksite Location. Three days a week onsite, Tues, Wed, Thurs, with Monday and Friday being remote

Compliance Analyst

for our high-tech giant client located in Austin, TX for a long-term Contract position.  

Responsibilities:

     Assign tickets to Technicians to evaluate access points.

Follow-up and communicate tickets and progress on tickets to appropriate parties.

Perform PCI DSS compliance

Manage logs

Execute work to test operational effectiveness of key controls using variety of approaches, including sampling, corroboration, observation, performance, etc.

     Communicate to the process owners control deficiencies and provide recommendations for remediation.

In collaboration with process owners, process managers and IT owners, ensure proper documentation of all policies and procedures applicable to the key controls of significant processes, specifically, those related to network and security devices.

     Identify key controls, perform gap analysis and update processes to meet control objectives.

     Identify, evaluate, document and monitor the remediation of control deficiencies, with an emphasis on assisting process and IT owners to remediate control deficiencies.

     Summarize test results at the conclusion of testing.

     Assist management with meeting coordination, follow-up, presentations and documentation.

     Facilitate external auditors with performance or independent testing and coordination with process owners. Provide direct assistance, as needed (e.g. key reports testing, walkthroughs).

     Assist with PCI DSS quarterly control certification survey of process owners and process managers throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

   Minimum three (4) years' work experience in one or more of these areas; internet security, auditing, control assessment, PCI DSS

Strong experience with PCI DSS standard

   Experience with internal control concepts and experience in applying them in various business areas/functions.

   Experience working with internal and external auditors.

   Knowledge of one of the following areas is a must: computer networking, network security practices, compliance or computer security.

   Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated attention to detail.

   Results oriented: ability to collaborate with different individuals across the organization and within other geographies in order to overcome obstacles and accomplish all necessary tasks.

   Strong organizational and time management skills.

Must be proactive with proven ability to execute on multiple tasks simultaneously.
