At the moment, they are ONLY considering candidates who are local to McLean, VA. EX Capital One is the preference and the mode of interview will be video for them. If they have not worked at Capital One before, they will be required to come on-site for a F2F interview (most likely 2nd or 3rd round). Description: Must Have: AWS, Lambda, API, Python, CI/CD pipeline, Jenkins, Docker container based development & deployment. Nice to Have: JavaScript (NodeJS), Java, AWS connect, data management (No SQL), DynamoDB development & deployment architecture. 3+ years of experience. Must sit on-site (Mon & Fri remote/Tue-Thu on-site). Top Skills: AWS/Serverless using Lambda/and creating APIs and Integrations with Python, also open to Java. Would like to see Ex C1 experience candidate. What are they looking for on a resume: Anyone who has worked on AWS eco system with Serverless technologies. Retail Bank, now called Bank Tech, team handles banking/voice banking apps, IVR/Telephony system when customers calls in, gets through options to get to the right POC to answer questions/transferred to an agent. Call routing, connect calls, all those applications are managed by this team. Will be part of a team of 6 Engineers, 2 Lead Developers, 2 Managers. Need support for the next 6 months, will work on FS applications, focus on AWS, Microservices, Serverless Arch with Lambdas, Python will be the main language they will work on. Will develop new microservices on AWS using python or Java. Back-End- DynamoDB/SQL Databases, installed through CI/pipelines. Application is already existing, will work with existing teams on working through sprint process, picking up work, will not rewrite apps, maintenance/helping the team get additional workflows to complete the work. Everything is Lambda/Serverless architecture. NodeJS- nice to have, JavaScript- nice to have, few components that rae JavaScript.
