Job Description: 3-5 years of Experience as a Software Engineer. Developer needed to support Prudential of Brazil VI/VG Merger that will consolidate PoB into 1 entity for Efficiency gains from consolidated entities. This role is for a 11 month contract position supporting Prudential of Brazil's Operating Unit Merger Project. This activity relies heavily on Prudential's middleware toolkit which process all data from PoB to Oracle Financials. The candidate will be dedicated to analyzing java rules deployed in Prudential's middleware architecture and ensuring they meet requirements designed to facilitate a successful operating unit merger. Experienced Software Engineer with a strong mix of the following: Required Java is required. Oracle SQL and Oracle Database required. Strong regression testing, systems/integration testing skills. Following skills are a plus: JavaScript, at least one of the following: Node, React, Angular Preferred application experience: Weblogic, Bitbucket, Jenkins No language requirement outside of English, but if they cross paths with a candidate that also knows Portuguese it would certainly be helpful."
