Job Title: HBITS-05-13215 Cloud Engineer Duration: 24+ months Location: Albany, NY (Day 1 onsite) Visa- Any valid working visa in USA. There is only 1 round with direct client NOTE = This is onsite job from day 1. Client will provide Hybrid work option. You have to go onsite 2/3 days in a week. Performing tasks related to Cloud Engineer, including but not limited to: Assist in maturing agencies cloud governances and policies. Gathering requirements and information from technical teams for plans for cloud development. Assist technical teams with evaluating and targeting application/servers for migration to Cloud. Assist in creating monitoring and alerting rules/practices. Assist in developing and maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with best practices. Identify, analyze and resolve cloud vulnerabilities. Assist with the migration of on-prem software into Azure Assist with the migration of OCI IaaS into Azure Troubleshoot and/or assist with providing support for Cloud related products. Review existing cloud solutions regularly and make recommendations for improvements where needed Cloud Engineer Applies engineering disciplines to cloud computing and brings a systematic approach to concerns of commercialization, standardization, and governance of cloud computing applications. Leverages the methods and tools of engineering in conceiving, developing, operating and maintaining cloud computing systems and solutions. Uses the economics of cloud resources to solve business problems. Senior 60 - 84 months: Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others.
